Here are some hair care tips for summer:

HEY GIRL HEY! What a freaking journey this has been. How tf are we here? I say we because i'm sure the 3 people that will read this includes my husband, my sister, and maybe one of the girls from the salon (if I had to guess, it would be Sara lol).

I want to start by saying I (jami) am a hairdresser, not an English major with perfect grammar, or Colleen Hoover with great writing skills. I say bad words, I try to entertain and I own the best freaking and most talented salon in Houston. If you're okay with that, keep reading!

Okay but really, if you aren't one of the people I listed above, WELCOME! If you have been a client for some time, or we have at least met... CHEERS *sips my wine*

Before I lecture you all in the next blog posts on how to keep your hair from breaking, why your blonde turns green or why you should actually throw away the Pantene from your shower,I figured I would introduce myself and give you a little background. In the short amount of time I went to college I learned if I put emotion into my writing I could pursued people a lot easier. So read this with so much emotion that you want to come and get your hair done at our salon.

As you see above I went to college and dropped out, $orry Dad. But during that crazy time I decided to go to hair school. What was suppose to be a period of time just for my parents to not nag me turned into a full blown salon. What started out as myself in a 100 sq ft salon suite turned into a space 15x bigger with a whole team to follow. After 8 months alone I accidentally booked two people on the same time and day and thats how we are here today. If you know me, I will make it work, and thats exactly what I did. That day I knew I needed an assistant, from there I knew she would need to grow. Time after time history would repeat itself and eventually I grew a whole team of babes who started as a baby stylist but grew into amazing and successful women.I will say, we are more than a team, we are a family and i'm sure you will be able to see that when you come in.

We aren't a regular salon, were a cool salon. We like to think of ourself as a women's barbershop vibe where we all interact and have salon discussions with our clients involved. If you aren't one to talk a lot you will for sure be entertained. We always want to be kinda professional but also we want to be a fun place that you look forward to coming to. We have complimentary drinks *the adult kinds of course* so I mean, that right there should make you want to book. If you aren't sold yet...we do the best hair! Color, extensions, and everything in between. Oh and you can "work" from the salon! I made sure to get some great wifi for all of you girlies who have to keep wiggling your mouse during the day lol.

Honestly, I wanted to write all of this to not only say welcome to all of the new babes but thank you to every person who has ever supported me, my salon, or my team. We truly wouldn't be here today without you. From liking our photos on instagram, to listening to us bitch about prebooking during the crazy holiday times, your support means the world. We cant wait to be in our new space to give you all back a new boujee experience that you all deserve.
